Upgrading your Salesforce Plugin

To upgrade your existing Salesforce Plugin, please follow the following steps:

Step 1:

Click on the install link, which will bring you to the Salesforce installation page:

If you are not already logged in with your Salesforce username and password, you will be asked if you have a Salesforce username and if you are a Salesforce administrator. If you have access to a Sandbox environment, you can choose to install ZoomInfo for Salesforce in the Sandbox or the live Production environment. Please note that ZoomInfo suggests installing this in Sandbox prior to production to test functionality before migrating to production.

Select the environment where you want to install the app and click Continue. If you are not a Salesforce Administrator, please contact your company’s administrator and ask them to follow these instructions to install ZoomInfo for Salesforce.

Step 2:

On the confirm installation page, read and agree to the terms & conditions, and then click Install. Step 3: If you haven’t already, enter your Salesforce username and password. Again, if you are not a Salesforce Administrator, please contact your company’s administrator and ask them to follow these instructions to install ZoomInfo for Salesforce.

Important notes:

  • The new version of the ZoomInfo for Salesforce plugin includes “only if blank” conditionals in the mapping. This means that ZoomInfo will only fill in information for fields that are blank, and will not overwrite any existing fields. These default to true. If you would like to disable this feature, please update your mapping and uncheck all of the “Only if Blank” checkboxes.
  • Please check ALL mappings after updating your Salesfore Plugin.
