ZoomInfo sets limits and restrictions on the type and amount of content available. The specific limits and restrictions correspond directly with the terms outlined in the Service Level Agreement section of your contract. These limits affect the API on a per partner basis. Plans can be setup as monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
If you have questions about your Service Level Agreement and API limits please email [email protected]
Your level of usage of ZoomInfo APIs can be based on query calls or based on credits (records returned). Restrictions can apply to which API requests you are able to access. Also, each request type has restrictions on the type of content accessible to you by that query. For Person Search and Company Search, there are restrictions on which data points you are able to search by and what content you can receive back. For Person Detail, Company Detail, Person Match, and Company Match there are restrictions on the type of content you receive back on a person or company.
The primary limit on your account is an overall API limit that sets the restriction of how many overall API calls your account is allowed to make in a given time period. This limit applies to all query types. When the query usage exceeds the query limit and the limit type is a hard limit, the API returns the following error:
You have exceeded your overall API query request limit. Please contact Zoom Information, Inc.
The next limit on your account is a query-specific limit that restricts the number of times your account is allowed to call a specific query in a given time period. (This limit applies to all query types.) When the query usage exceeds the query limit and the limit type is a hard limit, the API returns the following error:
You have exceeded your <query type> API querytype request limit. Please contact Zoom Information, Inc.
Another limit for accounts is a search result query limit. On each search query result (Person and Company), a given API call has a limit on the maximum amount of results returned. This limit does not apply to person and company match requests.
For Person Match and Company Match requests, all accounts have two additional limits:
